Alushta.Green is the first festival in Crimea, where issues of conscious attitude to the environment are discussed in the language of modern culture.

The theme of 2019 is Africa. Artists, musicians and actors created works specifically for Alushta on an African theme, and the festival culminated in a carnival procession with the participation of moving art objects.
For two days the embankment of Alushta turned into a concert venue, carnival street, art gallery and dance studio. Artists, musicians, actors not only spoke to guests and residents of the city, but also involved them in the process of cultural production.

We do not just declare a conscious attitude towards the environment. The festival is a space where the best practices of environmental activism are implemented – from separate garbage collection to capshering.
The educational program was devoted to the theories and practices of responsible consumption, conservation and replenishment of resources.
Guests of the festival were able to attend a lecture hall, a photo exhibition, a film show, take part in an eco-game and try Crimean herbal teas and jam in a phytobar.

During the festival, we saw how the main public space of Alushta - the embankment - can be transformed if active residents come together.

Theatre program

Leading theaters working in the genre of street performances and performances have prepared bright performances for Alushta, which are based on the theme of protecting (and defenseless) nature. And the carnival procession, in which all troupes took part, became a symbolic meeting of the Crimean and African fauna.

Music, Hip Hopi Street Art

A hip-hop laboratory worked at the festival, where you could pump your skills in each of the directions - DJ, breaking, playing street drums, rap freestyle. Street artist Darion Shabbash taught how to make wild animal masks from large plastic bottles. And in the music program a line-up was assembled from representatives of the most relevant areas - from hip-hop to soul.
